PAPER BRIQUETTE MACHINE
Shredded waste paper or cardboard boxes are compressed into high-density, combustible briquettes, enabling the resource regeneration and recycling of waste paper and creating additional value.
PAPER BRIQUETTE MACHINE FOR SALE
The waste paper and cardboard briquetting machine is a briquette press designed to compress waste paper generated from industrial production or household waste. Loose waste paper has a low density, requiring significant storage space and posing potential fire hazards. Our paper briquetting machine effectively compacts waste paper into high-density fuel briquettes or pellets, significantly reducing storage costs. This process also converts waste paper into fuel with a high calorific value, making it an efficient and environmentally friendly solution for waste paper management.
BRIQUETTES & PELLETS MADE FROM WASTE PAPER
The diameter of paper briquettes typically ranges from 25 mm to 60 mm, while paper pellets usually have a diameter between 6 mm and 10 mm. These products are manufactured by different equipment. For making good density waste paper briquettes, the paper needs to be small size, generally not exceeding 50 mm. However, to produce paper pellets, the paper must be crushed to a size smaller than 10 mm. The finer the paper is crushed, the higher the output efficiency of the pellet machine.
When producing waste paper pellets, a flat-die pellet machine is commonly used, as it allows waste paper to enter the molding chamber more efficiently, improving overall production efficiency.
THE TYPES OF PAPER BRIQUETTE MACHINE
There are two main types of waste paper briquetting machines: ring die briquetting machines and piston type paper briquetting machines. Ring die briquetting machines can produce briquettes with a diameter of less than 20 mm, and it can even be used to produce waste paper pellets with 6-8mm pellets, while piston type paper briquette maker machines can produce briquettes with a diameter of more than 20 mm. Mechanical paper briquetting machines power consumption lower than other types.
PRETREATMENT TO THE WASTE PAPERS
Waste paper and cardboard are generally large in size, but their moisture content is typically low, so they only need to be crushed to produce pellets. To efficiently crush waste paper, a specialized soft material crusher is required. This machine has been upgraded from its original design, incorporating a shearing mechanism for greater efficiency. Unlike single- or double-shaft shredders, it features interchangeable screens of various sizes, ensuring the desired size is achieved in a single crushing process. This results in lower investment costs and higher crushing efficiency, making it the best option for waste paper recycling today.

HOW TO MAKE PAPER BRIQUETTES
From waste paper and cardboard to fuel briquettes, the process involves two steps:
- The collected waste paper is shredded by a paper shredder, generally to a size of 10 mm or less. This makes the briquetting machine’s feeding system more efficient, increasing output while reducing the risks of machine blockage.
- The shredded waste paper is fed into the briquetting machine, where it is compressed into cylindrical pellets or briquettes by a die. After cooling, it can be packaged and sold.
Waste paper briquettes or cardboard box briquettes generally have a calorific value higher than 4000 kcal, making them a high-quality fuel for fireplaces, burners, or boilers.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. Can I produce paper pellets with a diameter of 8-10 mm?
Yes, that is possible. Our specialized paper pellet machines are capable of producing pellets in that size range. However, the waste paper must first be shredded before it can be processed into pellets.
2. What is the calorific value of waste paper briquettes?
The calorific value depends on the type of raw materials used. Whether you’re using a waste paper briquette machine or a pellet machine, these machines do not alter the original calorific value of the materials.
3. I don’t have a large amount of waste paper. What is the minimum output capacity of your waste paper briquette or pellet machine?
The output capacity can be adjusted to meet your needs. We offer customizable home machines with a production capacity as low as 50-80 kg per hour.
4.How to make paper briquettes at home?
If you’re looking for a small waste paper briquetting machine for home use, considering investment costs and stable operation, we recommend a flat die paper pellet machine. It’s easy to operate, has low maintenance costs, and you can buy one for under $2,000.
5.What are the benefits of the paper briquettes?
The advantages of waste paper briquettes are high calorific value and stable combustion. The calorific value of cardboard briquettes is between 4,000-4,500 kcal, the moisture content is only about 9%, and the density is very high, around 1.3g/cm3, which makes paper briquettes a high-quality biomass fuel.
6.How do you turn paper into briquette firelogs?
As we discussed above, you need to use a paper shredder to shred the waste paper into powder, and then use a briquetting machine to press it into paper briquettes. Briquettes with a diameter of 70 mm or more are generally products of heavy-duty paper brick maker.
