PEANUT SHELL BRIQUETTE MACHINE FOR SALE

No crushing required, just press directly into briquettes, run continuously and stably for 24 hours, and low maintenance costs.

The peanut shell briquetting machine is a biomass solidification forming maching specifically designed to compress peanut shells (no need crushing ) into high-density briquette fuel or feed under high pressure and high temperature (90-120 which can kill harmful bacteria). Its principle utilizes lignin in the peanut shell, physically briquetting under high pressure through mechanical punching, without binder needed. This briquette machine features multi-functionality, high automation, stable operation, 24-hour continuous operation, and simple operation and maintenance. It effectively solves the problems of peanut shell storage and transportation, realizing the resource utilization of agricultural waste.

The KXLM series of stamping briquetting machines has four models, and KXLM2000 model is the most commonly used one. This model has a output range of 1,000-2,000 kg/hour, making it suitable for medium to large-scale briquetting production lines. Compared to the KXLM3000 model, it requires less time for maintenance and is easier for workers to operate.

This video showcases a test of the older KXLM1000 model producing peanut shell briquettes. The main unit is 45 kW, with a production capacity of 800-1000 kg/hour. The peanut shell briquettes are 60 mm in diameter and feature a hollow design with an inner diameter of 18 mm for easier combustion. Please contact us for more information.

HOW TO MAKE BRIQUETTES FROM PEANUT GROUND SHELL?

Piston-Type-Briquette-Machine
peanut shell briquette press

The process of making peanut shell briquettes is to compress loose peanut shells into high-density biomass briquettes. It mainly consists of three stages: raw material pretreatment, mechanical briquetting, and post-processing.

Phase 1: Raw Material Pretreatment

Soil and sand are removed from the dried peanut shells by rotary screener. While crushing is not a must, crushing the peanut shells does improve the briquetting machine’s output and the smoothness of the briquettes surface. It also helps prevent damage to the briquetting machine forming die parts. The most suitable screening equipment is drum screen or vibrating screen because of its high output, ease operation, and low operating costs.

Phase 2: Feeding Peanut Shell into Buffer Silo

It is recommended to add a buffer silo or distribution silo between the rotary screen and the briquetting machine. This is mainly because the buffer silo promise uniform feeding of peanut shell into the briquetting machine, and the feeding speed can be adjusted according to the briquetting machine’s running current. This significantly reduces the probability of ground shell briquette making line clog and increases output.

Phase 3: Briquetting by the briquette press

This is the core step. The neaut shell are fed into the pison type briquetting machine. The temperature of the briquetting machine mold is between 80-120 degrees Celsius. This high temperature softens the raw materials, causing the lignin in the peanut shells to soften and become a natural binder. The softened raw material is continuously extruded into the forming die parts, where its originally loose volume shrinks significantly under immense pressure. After being formed into a cylindrical shape briquettes in the mold, the peanut shell briquettes is continuously punched out from the discharge port.

PEANUT SHELL BRIQUETTE MAKING MACHINE WEAR PARTS

Our peanut shell briquetting machine has very few vulnerable parts. The main vulnerable parts include the punch of the mold and the inner sleeve of the mold. However, compared with similar briquetting machines on the market, all briquetting machines in the KXLM series do not require the replacement of the entire mold set. Only the worn inner sleeve needs to be replaced, which reduces wear costs. Therefore, the cost of our mold wear parts is much lower, and replacement is simple. The machine also consumes less energy when running.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can we make ground peanut shell briquettes at home?

Considering investment and operating costs, we do not recommend that you produce peanut shell briquettes at home. This is mainly because even the smallest briquette machine requires an investment of tens of thousands of dollars. However, if you really want to produce peanut shell fuel at home, you can consider using a peanut shell pellet machine, which has a much lower purchase cost, costing only about $2,000. It is the best choice. You can contact us for more product details.

Whether a business using peanut shells to make briquettes can be profitable depends primarily on the cost of raw materials. According to customers feedback, the cost of purchasing peanut shells varies greatly in different markets, with prices in higher-priced areas being 2-3 times higher than in lower-priced areas. Therefore, it is difficult to generalize. However, if you have a peanut oil processing plant, you have plenty of free peanut shells, and you will definitely be able to get profit from the peanut shell briquettes business.

The price of a peanut shell briquetting machine depends on your production needs. Depending on the model, the price ranges from $30,000 to $180,000. You can contact us for a detailed peanut shell briquette plant proposal.
